I have noticed that our forums aren't really the popular kind, and have been really inactive lately, so i just wanted to put this out there, and request that more people try and use the forums daily for discussions, etc...because its such a waste rite now, as the forums are really enjoyable when you get into them! Ok so from now on we will have a staff anime recommendation one every 2 months or so, in which we will recommend which new current season animes you should give a try!
For this season, we are recommending 3 animes: Eden of the East, Cross Game, and 07-Ghost, below are our reviews on these animes:
Eden of the East: This anime is about a man named Akira Takizawa who has wiped his memories clean, and now finds himself outside the WHITE HOUSE, completely naked and with a gun and a cellphone in his hands! While he's there he saves Saki Morimi who is in D.C on her graduation trip, from trouble! Unexpected events cause these two to fly back to JAPAN together, and while he is the airport Akira finds out he has 8 billion dollars of credit in his phone! Who is Akira Takizawa? What are the secrets behind his extraordinary mobile phone? What got lost with his vanished memory? This anime is full of action, mystery, and drama and a nice touch or romance!
Cross Game: Kou Kitamura shows himself publicily as not very interested in baseball, and usually hangs around with Wakaba Tsukishima. But Aoba, Wakaba's sister is jealous of Kou, for spending alot of time with her older sister. Aoba is a natural baseball pitcher with great form. Unbeknownst to many, Kou secretly trains for baseball to become as good as Aoba! This anime might shock some of you in the first episode, but don't stop watching, as the first episode is one of the driving point for the anime! This is sort of a "rise to the top" anime while showing much indication of nice romance, which makes a great combination. Although the animation is a bit old-style, so some of you might not like that!
07 Ghost: Barsburg Empire's Military Academy has always been known for training the elite with potential to become superb soldiers who won't bring shame to the name of the empire. The students of the special program freely utilize an ability called "zaiphon" to fight... Everyone's capabilities are different, and in many cases, reflect their nature. However, not everything is what it seems, and nothing will be the same for Teito Klein after passing the last exam. This anime is filled with action, and a pretty unique storyline! with great animation and nice characters. This one has the potential to be a great anime!

So we have got our hands on the Anime list for summer 09's anime, most of these are new animes! with some coming back for recurring seasons. I know what i am waiting for, for me it's SPICE & WOLF II xD
